We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of various technology projects within our organization. The ideal candidate should possess strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of IT systems and processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end project management lifecycle for IT initiatives, including project planning, scope definition, resource allocation, timeline management, risk assessment, and quality control.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and IT strategies.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining project tasks, milestones, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication, task delegation, and accountability throughout the project duration.
- Monitor and manage project risks, issues, and changes, implementing effective mitigation strategies and escalation processes when necessary.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including project charters, status reports, meeting minutes, and post-project evaluations.
- Regularly communicate project progress to stakeholders, providing updates on key milestones, risks, and changes.
- Manage project budgets and resource allocations, tracking expenditures and ensuring projects are delivered within approved financial limits.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to the refinement of project management methodologies and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering IT projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, software development, and technologies.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Proficient in project management tools and software.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other iterative project management methodologies.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
